little.brain, at random.

Welcome to my blog. I’ve wanted one for a while, and I hope you like it. Here I’ll post random bits and dribble — some of it, I hope, interesting.

My goal is to get twenty hits in one day. Reach for the stars with those stubby arms!

I’ll post things I’m thinking about, things that I come across online, things that I write, and I also hope to use this space to chronicle the things my children do and say as they grow and, hopefully, mature — though looking at their father (that would be me, for those who have lost track), mature is relative.

OK, a little about me:

I am married to my best friend (The Wise One) and have two fantastic and highly energetic boys: I call them Chester (9 years old) and Peanut (5). My wife and I have been married for 13 years, and she was my prom date.

I am 35 and I still find fart jokes inappropriately funny.

Faith: Christian

Religion: Mac

I occasionally write/teach/speak. My gifts are writing/teaching and hospitality.

I’m an unemployed computer geek who, until they stopped publishing in March 09, worked as a systems technician for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, a newspaper also known as the P-I (and occasionally the Daily Planet, in reference to the huge neon globe that spins atop the building). Bill O’Reilly hated our paper and that alone made me proud to work there.

Awesome blog! While I have you “on the line”, allow me to humbly apologize for not calling you back regarding a wedding coordinator. Long story short:
Matt, Karen, Natasha (3), Ava (21 mos.), Jackson (2 1/2 mos.) arrived; planned and implemented huge family reunion; laundry room & bedroom flooded; kids left; I got sick.
Anyway, the coordinator’s name is Kim Bryant and she is very good. She attends South Union Church of God. I don’t have her number but call Jeanne at the church and she can give it to you. Is is Mel’s sister who is getting married? How fun!
    Blessings on y’all!

  2. good luck with your BLOG – and I’m honored, that you like my typewriter’s teeth 🙂

    Happy Thanksgiving to you!

It is good to have one day in a year designated for the expression of gratefulness. We do not have one here in Malaysia. So wise of Abraham Lincoln!

The world would be less chaotic, it would be a more peaceful place if each one of us has the awareness in him that there are plenty for which he should be thankful for.

To remind myself of my good fortune, I have drawn up a list for my daily expression of giving thanks.
