Welcome to my blog. I’ve wanted one for a while, and I hope you like it. Here I’ll post random bits and dribble — some of it, I hope, interesting.
My goal is to get twenty hits in one day. Reach for the stars with those stubby arms!
I’ll post things I’m thinking about, things that I come across online, things that I write, and I also hope to use this space to chronicle the things my children do and say as they grow and, hopefully, mature — though looking at their father (that would be me, for those who have lost track), mature is relative.
OK, a little about me:
I am married to my best friend (The Wise One) and have two fantastic and highly energetic boys: I call them Chester (9 years old) and Peanut (5). My wife and I have been married for 13 years, and she was my prom date.
I am 35 and I still find fart jokes inappropriately funny.
I occasionally write/teach/speak. My gifts are writing/teaching and hospitality.
I’m an unemployed computer geek who, until they stopped publishing in March 09, worked as a systems technician for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, a newspaper also known as the P-I (and occasionally the Daily Planet, in reference to the huge neon globe that spins atop the building). Bill O’Reilly hated our paper and that alone made me proud to work there.
